Counseling Resources

An associate who provides counseling services to several annual conferences wrote the following when we inquired about a link to counseling services around the country:

"The best resource I can think of is the Samaritan Institute Network.  We are part of that network, along with about 95 other centers nationwide.  These are pastoral counseling centers, staffed by licensed counselors who for the most part have a pastoral identity.  Also, many are participating in and being trained in the Samaritan's Clergy and Congregation Consulting program, providing more awareness and training in dealing with clergy and congregational issues, including conflict, etc.  We just came back from a weekend training in Atlanta in that area."
