Welcome to the AIA Resource Library
The Associates in Advocacy Resource Library is being developed as a central collection of educational materials, church-law references, practical advocacy guides, and historical documents. Our purpose is to help individuals understand the administrative and judicial processes of the Church and provide resources that encourage informed participation, accountability, and justice.
The library serves clergy, laity, advocates, complainants, respondents, church officers, and others seeking information about church governance and fair process. Resources will be organized by denomination and subject, with separate collections for The United Methodist Church and the Global Methodist Church, along with general advocacy materials and historical archives. Each collection will provide access to relevant documents, educational resources, and practical tools as they become available.
Associates in Advocacy is committed to making these resources accessible while respecting confidentiality, privacy, and the rights of individuals involved in church proceedings. Documents will be reviewed for accuracy and appropriate public distribution before being added to the library. Our continuing purpose is to help the Church fulfill its own intentions to be just, seeking reconciliation and restoration wherever possible and justice always.
